List of Legendary Pokémon Unova Region (Fifth Generation)

Legendary Pokémon are among the rarest creatures in the Pokémon universe. Hard to find, and even harder to catch. Each Pokémon game has a few of them hiding somewhere, waiting for keen-eyed players to catch.

Below, we have compiled a list of legendary Pokémon introduced in the fifth generation Pokémon games. These Pokémon appeared in the Unova Region.

Victini

A psychic and fire type Pokémon, Victini is rumoured to bring victory to its trainer, no matter the type or conditions of encounter. It has the ability to accumulate limitless energy within its body, and transfuse this energy into those it comes in contact with.

Cobalion

Cobalion

First of the three legendary musketeers, Cobalion’s body and heart are made entirely of steel. It is ferocious and fierce, but calm and composed at the same time, with its being enough to get mischievous Pokémon in line. Cobalion defended the Pokémon against their battle against the humans.

Terrakion

Terrakion

Another legendary musketeer, Terrakion is a rock type Pokémon who defended homeless Pokémon during the Human-Pokémon war.

Keldeo

Keldeo

Last of the legendary musketeers, Keldeo has the ability to discharge water from its hooves. It was saved by the other legendary musketeers from a forest fire.

Virizion

Virizion

One of the four legendary musketeers, Virizion fought against the humans to protect other Pokémon, and guided lost one through the forests.

The Kami Trio Tornadus, Thundurus and Landorus

Landorus is a flying and ground type Pokémon that leads the Kami trio. The other two, Tornadus and Thundurus fight alongside each other. Tornadus is a flying type and Thundurus is a flying and electric type Pokémon.

The Tao Trio Reshiram, Zekrom and Kyurem

Members of the trio, Reshiram and Zekrom foster an immense rivalry, with the former being a mascot for Pokémon Black, and the latter for Pokémon White. The third member of the trio, Kyurem, is said to possess a hollow body, and emits icy cold energy. Each of its two other forms are mascots for Pokémon Black V2 and Pokémon White V2.

Meloetta

Meloetta

Meloetta’s melodious songs are said to calm down anyone who hears them. Ann event Pokémon that can be taught the Relic Song, Meloetta has two forms.

Genesect

Genesect

Genesect in its current form is the result of genetic and technological alterations to the ancient bug and steel type Pokémon by Team Plasma. The light on its back varies based on the type of drive it is holding.
