We all have one, we swear by it and make sure it is in our Pokémon parties in all the Pokémon games and even in Pokémon GO we look for it desperately to appear. We are talking about our favorite Pokémon. It is different everywhere you go, and there are some rather popular Pokémon out there.
Some are so popular that they have made the covers of magazines, watches, shirts, even phone cases and underwear. This article was crafted to list off the most popular Pokémon in the world. We will also be listing possible reasons as to why it is so popular. Keep in mind, these aren’t in any specific order of popularity.
Pikachu
This one we are naming first for obvious reasons. Though it is hardly the most popular Pokémon anymore, it is without a doubt one of the top 5. In the earlier Pokémon games, it is the first electric type you have a chance of catching. Without evolving it, it is one of the strongest electric Pokémon out there.
You will find its face on all kinds of merchandise, Pikachu has become a mascot for the franchise and is recognized by children and adults all over.

For obvious reasons, who wouldn’t love a fire breathing dinosaur/dragon? This Pokémon has become so popular, not just in the Pokémon games as the favored starter, but also in the real world with merchandise.
This is one of the most sought after, and pricey Pokémon cards is actually a first edition Charizard. Then you have the other merchandise such as hats, shirts, shoes, watches, and so forth.
Eevee
This Pokémon has made itself known in every Pokémon game as one of the most wanted party members you can get. Well, Eevee itself not so much, but its Eeveelutions are famous too.
Eevee is a cute little fox/cat Pokémon that can evolve into 3 different… we mean 5 different…. 8 different things. After the release of Sword & Shield, it could be like 10 things to choose from.
However, this Pokémon has become a symbol for many emo kids, and youth facing identity crisis. Not a joke, people have been identifying themselves as an Eevee to help express their own personalities.
Dragonite
One of the most sought-after Pokémon in the original Pokémon games, and to this day one of the most iconic dragon types, Dragonite. This dragon/flying type soars in as a power house of Pokémon destruction.
